Guardians of San Diego and Mission Bays

Welcome to Division 1 of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary, Eleventh District Southern Region. The Division is made up of 9 Flotillas which serve the San Diego area. Our Area of Responsibility (AOR) extends from the Mexican border to north of Oceanside.

Division 1 has more than 350 members who donate thousands of hours in support of Coast Guard missions. Division 1 works directly with the men and women of Coast Guard Sector San Diego.

Auxiliarists donate thousands of hours doing Vessel Safety Checks, Public Education classes, Search and Rescue, Marine Safety and Environmental Protection and Marine Domain Awareness operations. The Division has very active surface programs, and also has a very active color guard.
