| Election of division officers for the next calendar year
have taken place. William (Bill) Anderson, the current Vice Division
Captain has been elected as the next Division Captain with Dick Akita
serving as the new Vice Division Captain. Outgoing Division Captain
Michael Fulgham is moving up to RCO-SD. Congratulations to our newly
elected officers and "hats off" to Michael Fulgham.
The next several months will see our new leadership assembling their new crew of SO (staff officers) and planning for a smooth transition into the new year. |
The flotillas are abuzz putting together nomination committees to elect new leadership. Elections will be held in the month of October and results will be posted here. The working part of the Auxiliary is the flotilla and this is where members step up and exercise their skills in making things happen. The need for volunteers to step up and volunteer for the new openings both at the top and staff levels of the flotilla are critical. These new leaders will confirm the commitment they made when they raised their right hand and took the oath of membership. | Membership dues are coming up. Be prepared to make
your payments early enough to keep your financial officers from pulling
hair out. They don't have hair to spare.
Annual events like the Change of Watch Ceremony and the Annual Convention in Costa Mesa are coming up. Remember last year and the hassel over rooms and meal tickets. Get in early. More on that later. |
